getting to see teaser pics from the pros

i am SOOOO excited to have seen some of the pictures on our photogs facebook tonight. they turned out so freaking amazing that i am wide awake and giddy right now. when i make our albun it is going to be pimp! i am so glad we paid for a pro and eased my mind. here are some of the freaking great shots from kurz studio photography!!! enjoy!

my shoes and bouquet. the more i see it the more i love it and am so glad i made it so it lasts since it's all paper.

my shoes were awesome. thanks ebay!

the flower girl's pomander

my flower for my sash. i glittered this thing out and added swarovski crystals to the center.

veil just chilling on the couch until it's time

the boutonnieres i made for the guys

love this photo!

that's one photogenic street lamp right there

another favo

i thought it was too funny she put the rings on one of the glow bracelts for the kids since i was wearing them from the second i got to the reception hall and my new niece kept bringing me more.

something orange and brown threw up in here

escort cards

the crossword puzzles i made

the banners i also made

drinks sign and pomanders i made (are you getting the hint!?! i practically wove the linens)

pomanders next to drink sign. i have to figure out what to do with these. i don't know if i should use them somewhere in the house or sell them on ebay or etsy. my bouquet is already in the downstairs bathroom making it look even more awesome with the cheeto orange wall color and the brown towels.

oh my stars and garters those look good! and yep, i made those too.

i didn't eat a single cupcale until 2 days after the wedding. i didn't even want one. i was so sick of making them.

i need to find a use for our b & m cake topper that i LOVE.

the table numbers and holders i made.

yay for glow bracelets!

woo hooooo

i hope you all enjoyed the pics and i will put more as i get them. we are still in the process of living out of boxes and trying to get out of them but it's tiring and you can only do so much in a day. and the current insanity is getting the christmas shopping done and mailed in time. if only our family were all local! happy holidays ya'll!

  3. I just have to tell you that everything turned out so beautifully! You really outdid yourself on your wedding, but the love is definately in the details. I loved your brave choice of colors since I saw it and those banners...my word, over the top, ingenious, and gorgeously simple. I have been trying to think of a way that I could use those myself since I saw them a while ago. Congratulations on a lovely and love-filled day. You both look completely happy and deserve it after all of that hard work!

  4. Your wedding was gorgeous!! I found your blog through Offbeat Bride and started reading because I'm doing an orange wedding myself (with a light blue and chocolate brown). Major props to you for making so much and putting so much of yourself into your wedding. The love came through and it looked so professional and perfect!

Oh, and I would totally buy those pomanders.

  5. Amanda thanks so much for the comment. you are too sweet. i actually am trying to figure out what to do with the bigger orange pomanders that hung at the reception. i will probably sell them on ebay or etsy. otherwise they will end up in the trash. i have a ton of wedding stuff to resell because who REALLY needs 200+ glass votive holders!!!

  11. I LOVE your wedding! I'm helping a friend with her wedding this weekend and went off looking for ideas for a break away bouquet and came across your site. A-MAZ-ING!

I'm a crafter to the core and a photographer to boot. Not married or even the prospect of it at the moment, but I'm seriously planning my wedding now! LOL

In response to your cake topper. You should frame it in a shadow box with some of your GORGEOUS paper flowers and a picture of you and your husband. I think that would be killer =)

  12. Hi!
Gorgeous photos! Thanks so much for sharing!
I am actually planning our wedding for August and we are doing Orange and Navy.
    I'd be interested in purchasing:

    - wood branch pencils with orange ribbon
    - gift envelope box with brown and orange glitter spots

(If still available) as well as the flower girl pomanders if you decide to sell as well.

    You have very inspriational ideas!
I was curious also if you could let me know where you got your cake topper from?
    :)

    THANK YOU!

  15. sarah,
i designed my cake topper and had it cut out of acrylic at ponoko.com. i don't remember what i used for the crossword puzzle. i know i did a search for free crossword maker on google so that should work for you as well. have fun!
